Room 323 [Saturday, Afternoon]
Sleep, still not the easiest thing to come by, and when it finally did, the timing was all off, leaving Effy crawling her way to consciousness in the early afternoon. Not that it mattered, really, since it was a weekend anyway.
There was the surfacing of the realisation she should probably get up, get dressed, go out, do something... But not really the inclination. Too many other things spinning around in her head. A brief investigation down the side of her bed revealed the bottle she kept there was empty. Well. There went that solution. Shit.
Eventually, she made the effort to slip out of bed and turn up her music loud enough to almost drown out most of the snippets of conversation in the back of her head making her twitchy, and slid down to sit on the floor, back against her bed and head dropped back against the mattress. Picking up bad, floor-sitting habits. Wonder whose fault that was.
[[Door is closed, post can be open with the warning the girl is extra messy and broken. ETA: aaand I should probably tack on an extra WARNING for delicate subject matters ahead: discussion of alcohol abuse, mental health issues, etc.]]

The music didn't immediately tell him anything except that he had to knock louder. Too bad he was still one armed or he would have knocked rhythmically.

"Come in." Give her a second and she actually might bother to reach over behind her on the bed for the remote and turn the music down.
no subject
"Guess that answers my question," he said, refusing to shout it but making sure it was loud enough that she'd hear him.
no subject
"And which question was that?"

Yeah, right.

Stiiiill, not exactly answering his questions. Pretty sure he was drawing his own conclusions as is.
no subject
Well, not about that. He was quiet for a moment, letting his eyes fall on her empty bottle and messy bed. "You have a party and forget to invite me? Got enough people with you, right?"
no subject
"Can sit, if you want."
no subject
"What's going on in your head?" he asked since she'd elaborated a bit. "Anything interesting?"
no subject
"How about yours?"
no subject
Right. He shook his head again. "Starting the lying early tonight, aren't we?"
no subject
"Find anything interesting?"
no subject
"Evidence that you've been living in this room, acting like a hermit," he said, eventually pulling her chair out to sit down. "Couldn't even come visit me in the clinic."
Not that he'd been there for longer than a few hours but she probably didn't know that.

She cocked her head, eying the sling. "Shoulder alright?"

Effy frowned, "Of course you have." Couldn't forget him. Just... got a little preoccupied.

"And more fun than staring at the walls." Didn't really want anyone picking up something was off, so popping out to common rooms wasn't exactly high on her agenda.
