Last class for the term finally out of the way, and it was really about time Effy started to think about her trip home tomorrow, and... well, the packing she had to do for it.

Sure, she probably had enough stuff back in Bristol to get by for a week, but an overnight bag at least might be a good idea, and she yanked one out from under her bed to throw a few things into.

If nothing else, she was looking forward to seeing Tony, maybe even Pandora, though she might be less likely to admit to that second one. The couple of things she actually missed about home were the people. That was something she'd never really imagined would be the case.

"You'd say that just to piss me off," Effy murmured, smiling slightly against his lips. Like she didn't know that.

As she said it, she could drag her fingers around to his hips, trailing the waistband of his pants.

"Maybe," he admitted, returning that smile because, yeah, he'd done it for exactly that reason. "I could have said it in a cruder way, though. Not as nice that."

And that had been nice, in his opinion.

Still, he wasn't going to deviate too much from talking even when he could feel her hands at his waist. Since their hips were still pressed pretty firmly together, he couldn't get his hand down there but he could move it up, find a nipple and pinch it sharply.

Aww, restraining his crude side. It was almost sweet. Something like that.

Didn't give her long to think about that, though, her already slightly rough breathing giving an extra hitch at that, and she started trying to work her fingers around to see if she couldn't help get those pants off him.

He was all heart, yes. And he kind of wanted to stick around so going with the nicer version seemed smartest.

Alex, being all heart, wondered how long he could keep that title if he made getting his pants off a little harder. He pressed his hips into hers again tightly and was glad that the materials of his jeans couldn't really mask everything.

That moved him from 'all heart' to 'incredibly frustrating', because it didn't mask, but at the same time, just wasn't enough.

Made that whole getting his pants of thing that bit tougher too. Back to annoying, then?

Incredibly frustrating was something he could deal with...for a few moments. It might be annoying her but it was getting to him since he was the one with the pants on.

Still, he liked to push her and poke her just to see what she'd do and this was no different. And hey, she'd really be able to feel it if he was the one doing the grinding this time, wouldn't she?

It affected him to the point he had to take a breath against her neck but he was proud of himself for that restraint.

His show of restraint was testing hers. Just a little.... Okay, more than a little. It was purposely done, and she knew it, which helped ever so slightly.

It probably affected her a little less than it did him too, but yes, even so she still felt it, and paused her efforts to grasp at his hips and press back.

Alex bit his lip in response to that, unwilling to make a fucking noise now that she was fighting back. He was going to stay restrained as long as he could just to see how far he could push her. It was his goal for the evening.

And he had the advantage of position and size and hands that weren't grasping at her hips. One of those hands gripped her side, fingers digging in hard and he leaned up and kissed her, nothing nice or soft about it. It was competitive, aggressive and harsh.

And they were so good at trying to out-compete each other. One pushed, the other was likely to try twice as hard to push back.

In this case, he got Effy biting down on his lip again, if only briefly, before putting more of her effort back into that kiss and curling one of her legs tighter around him.

His poor lip was taking some abuse today. Not that he really minded but he was going to be feeling that tomorrow, he was sure.

With her keeping him close, there wasn't much he could do with his hips save for rolling them into hers, regardless of the pants he was still wearing. Wasn't as intense a feeling but it still did it's job.

His poor lip, her poor all sorts of places. If he asked, it was his own fault for complaining about the nails, and leaving her with that as her other option.

Back to struggling with getting his pants off, which would still be a hell of a lot easier if he stopped that no matter how good it might feel.

Hey, if she was going to be using her teeth, he was going to use his nails and draw them down her side, pressing hard as he did. Might not get her attention but she'd damned her feel it.

And she'd damned sure feel him not stopping that because there was no way he was going to make it easy on her when making it hard meant being bastard. Thus, he was rolling his hips again, ignoring her trying to get his pants off.

That breath of frustration she let out against his lips was probably one of the signs he was looking for to prove what he was doing was getting to her, but she did it all the same.

"Really just don't want your clothes off?" she asked, breathing a little rough. All his fault.

One side of his mouth curled up in a half smile because, yes, that was what he was looking for. He didn't want to give himself away too much but still.

"You're obviously just not trying hard enough," he told her, voice low. "Haven't you taken a pair of pants off before? Need me to do it for you or something?"

"I don't need it," she claimed, pulling her leg tighter against him. "But it would be nice." That was almost her asking nicely!

"That sounds like you're giving up," he said, smiling at her for a moment longer before moving to press kisses against her neck and shoulder. He pressed his hips into hers in response to her tightening her leg and bit her neck again. "You a quitter?"

"Not a quitter," she muttered, spreading her fingers across his hips again. That she was sure of.

"It was just a question." And the way he was doing that, did make it seem like he didn't really want them coming off.

Oh, he wanted them to come off. He'd be insane to not want his pants off but, sometimes it was fun to be a hardass. He especially liked it when he had the advantage.

"You could have fooled me," he said against her ear, pushing himself up with his hands to look down at her. "Tell me what you want."

Well, that was an easy one. "I want you," she said, leaning up a little now he was pushing away. "To let me take your fucking clothes off."

She was getting better at this, see?

A lot better considering he wasn't even expecting that much. He grinned down at her and then rolled off her until he was the one on his back. Unwilling to let her think he was being lazy or annoying, he reached for her once he'd settled, pulling her on top of him.

"Then take my fucking clothes off," he answered challengingly. "Come on, then."

Well, easier anyway, and she grinned back at him as she reached back to his waist. "All I needed," Effy said, leaning forward, just to be a tease, and pausing as her fingers brushed the skin just above.

If he could be a tease, so could she while she had that power.

"I'm glad I could make it less complicated for you," he said dryly, tucking an arm under his head while she touched him. "Next time, we can move onto higher level functions. I'm sure you'll be ready."

"You mean it gets more complicated than this?" she said, her quiet tone still strongly tinged with sarcasm. "Bummer."

At least she was finally getting those pants off, though. Apparently, she had a little less restraint than he did.

"I'll get you an instruction manual," he promised, using his free hand to reach down and slide through her hair and against the back of her neck. Couldn't do much when she was trying to get him out of his pants but he could do a little. "Let me know if you need help down there. I know how excitable you can get."

Effy narrowed her eyes, without too much heat. "Think I can manage," she assured him, trying to work them down over his hips.

Fumble once and he was still using it against her. They had such a healthy not!relationship. Really they did.
