Room 323 [Saturday, Morning]

Effy's room was dark and freezing, and for the moment she was only putting up with it for the moment simply because she was pretty sure she'd feel colder if she got up and wandered around the dorms.

Not being very good at layers as a general rule, she was probably going to suffer this weekend.

Wasn't doing as badly as she could be, at the moment. Fortunately, she had a hell of a lot of candles, and found herself a long sleeved shirt, leggings and an oversized sweater she'd probably stolen from Tony at some point to pull way down over her knees and wrap her arms around as she fiddled with her phone before the batteries died on her.

Give her a minute, and she'd probably be back under her blankets. Weekend, so no one was going to force her to go anywhere. Could have had worse plans to keep her going until she ultimately got bored.

"Uh uh," he said, pulling that phone back away from her for the moment, holding it up over his head and taking the brunt of the cool air for a worthy cause. "Obviously, you're not as comfortable with this cuddling business as you seem! Interesting. I wonder which name would be the best to tell. I should just pick a random guy's name and go from there."

"If you're lucky you'll find one whose name I actually remember," she quipped. Obviously she'd prefer it if he didn't, but-- Could go either way.

For now, no she was not going to reach out of that warm cocoon of blankets to grab for it.

"What, you're not going to share that information with me?" he asked, bringing the phone back down closer to the blankets so his hand wouldn't end up an icicle. "I'd share similar information with you and you could share random things."

Because that'd be real healthy.

"And tell you exactly who to text?" That would be dumb and unhealthy. "I don't think so."

"So, I'll just send something to everybody," he decided, flipping to the beginning of her phone book. "Tell whoever this first person is about your willingness to dress up for me."

"Start at A, that's probably you," she pointed out. He could tell himself aaaaall about today if he wanted. Really didn't bother her.

"Well, look at that, it is me," he said, grinning at his own name. "That just means I have to go B, then C and so on. Find names I don't recognize and do some sharing. I've got a lot of things I could tell."

"Really are desperate to share about your cuddly side, aren't you?" Aww. Turning into such a softy, wasn't he?

"Have you seen my name come up once in this?" Alex wondered, not rising to that bait. Instead, he typed, effy's got a secret love of pop tarts in the morning. i should know, i've been the one making them for her.

Smirking, he flipped it towards her and said, "Who should that go to? I'll just pick a name if I have to."

"Jake," she said, smirking a little. Didn't really give a shit what he thought, and spent most of her time trying to pawn him off on other people.

Poor guy. Already refused to sleep with him on several occasions, he'd probably not appreciate hearing from people she was with now.

"Easy enough," he replied, finding that name and sending the text with a few clicks on her phone. Once done, he tapped her phone against his knee, trying to come up with something else to send off to her myriad of friends or people that made it into her phone, at least.

"You find a prize for yourself yet?" he asked, reaching down to try and tug the blanket up further. "I know you're in my wallet, at least."

"Getting there," Effy answered, though she was still flicking through the various pieces of paper she'd found.

She did after a moment, pull out the longest list of numbers, not of girls this time, and raise a questioning eyebrow.

Once he realized what she'd found, he was quiet for a moment and then shrugged slightly. "Lists of numbers for my mom. Doctors, psychiatrists, pharmacies, hospitals, social services, that kind of stuff. It's easier if I just do it when she needs help than to have her do it herself. Because she won't."

Effy inclined her head slightly in a nod of understanding. She'd had similar lists for Tony in the months after his accident.

"Feels like there's something really wrong having to be more responsible than your parents," she commented, tucking it back away for him.

"I don't have to use them as often as I once did. Take the good where I can get it," he said, half smiling and leaning forward to press a kiss against whatever part of her he could reach without jostling the sprawl she had on him.

"Find something more fun than that, Effy," he joked, shaking his head and trying to steer the conversation away from the maudlin. "My wallet's not that boring."

"Think if I took your condoms you'd be lost," she said, quirking a bit of a smile of her own as she looked over his ID. Possibly committing his birthday to memory while she did that.

"You have no idea how many stashes of condoms I have," he said, picking up her phone again and attempting to take a quick picture. The light level sucked, she was nearly on top of him and it was cold but he didn't care.

"Besides, there are things I can do that don't require condoms," he said slyly.

"I know." Been involved in some of those before now, and she broke into a little grin that probably got caught on camera thanks to his timing. "Sure I remember certain things."

Yeah, that'd been really good timing on his part. Smiling wasn't something she did all that often and he did like them.

"Yeah?" he asked, looking back over at her. "Got a favorite?"

What? His ego demanded it be asked.

"More than one." Vague but true. He knew he was good, in multiple ways, wasn't like she could really make that ego of his that much bigger. "Do you?"

Besides, encouragement couldn't really be considered a bad thing, right?

Encouragement was never a bad thing. And he tended to take it well which benefited her.

"Yeah," he shared, nodding. "I have a favorite or two. Doesn't mean I'm going to share until you do. You can't get without giving this time. I wanna know."

"Course you do," Effy noted. Probably expected that when she said it, and reached for one of his hands, trailing her fingers over his idly as she smirked and considered her response.

"Got some really, really good hands," she said after a moment. That was what she was focusing on for the moment. "Having them all over me, that's a favourite."

"First thing I tend to touch people with so I'm going to make damn sure they're good," he said, wriggling his fingers slightly when she touched them.

"Using my hands on you means I get to see your reactions too," he said and that was a thing of his. "And you do react even if you don't make noise. That's a favorite for me."

Effy curled a little smile, "Not everyone gets that." Sometimes she did her covering up of all that better than others.

"You pay attention." Which was more than most people did, she found, and Effy was never going to be hugely demonstrative.

"Most people think I don't," he said, tossing her phone somewhere near his hip so he could use his other hand and slide it along her waist. "It's nice to prove them wrong."

In fact, he loved it. But he always loved proving people wrong. "Sure I could fight the cold long enough to put my hands on you if you want that to be your prize."

Or if she just wanted him to do it. He wasn't fussed.
